Here, I’d love to share different sides of Japan—from many perspectives.
But first, let me tell you why I want to introduce Japanese culture to you.
When you think of Japan, what comes to mind?
Bright kimonos? Geisha performances? Cool kanji tattoos or sword-wielding samurai?
Well… yes—and no.
It’s a bit like wearing an “I ❤️ NY” shirt in Times Square.
Or watching a powdered-wig orchestra in medieval costumes.
Or seeing a belly dance show in a luxury hotel in Dubai.
(And yes, I’ve done all of those!)
Those experiences can be fun—and sometimes even magical.
But locals might think,
“That tiny café captures the real vibe so much better.”
“I wish they could see that view…”
Over the years, I’ve made friends all over the world and shared culture with them.
And every time, I’ve tried to show them something real:
A breathtaking painting, a vibrant local festival, the best seasonal dishes, a hidden hot spring…
There are so many unforgettable places that only locals know about.
I’ve been lucky to receive such insider tips myself, and they made my travels so much richer.
And when I got to do the same for others, their smiles said it all.
Now, I want to share those experiences with more people.
I truly love making friends across cultures—respecting one another, exchanging ideas, and finding joy in the journey.
Travel, cultural exchange, and discovering what’s authentic—these are things that bring us closer together.
So… are you ready to explore too?
